Meet the Staff
Ryan Bates
Lead Pastor
Ryan and his wife Savannah joined Radiant in September of 2013. Pastor Ryan served as the Youth Pastor from 2013-2019, Worship Pastor from 2013-2021, and Associate Pastor until March of 2023. In March 2023, Ryan was set in as Lead Pastor of Radiant Church.
He is passionate about seeing believers grow in their relationship with Jesus and in community with one another. He’s working on many exciting projects to advance discipleship at Radiant Church. He also continues to serve on the worship team and in many other capacities.
Scott Beglin
ASSOCIATE Pastor
Scott and his family joined Radiant Church in May of 2020 and became a part of our staff in September 2021. In March 2023, Scott was set in as Associate Pastor here at Radiant Church.
Scott is passionate about seeing a Christ-centered community being built in our local communities and reaching those who need Jesus most.
Katie Hutchins
administrator
Katie officially joined the team at Radiant in April 2021 after stepping down as Director of Classical Conversations to follow God’s invitation to “use her gifts for the church.”
She is passionate about Jesus, family and community and has been actively involved at Radiant with her family from the moment they stepped foot here. We couldn’t be happier to have her on the team!
Spencer St John
Youth Director
Spencer is a Portland Bible College student and has been part of the Radiant family since 2013. He has served as the Radiant Youth Leader for several years and in April of 2024, Spencer was set in as Youth Director.
Allison Beglin
Kid’s Ministry Director
Allison joined Radiant as our Kid’s Ministry Director in March of 2023 and brings her passion for teaching and Jesus to our children’s ministry each week. Allison and her husband Scott have two children and Allison is actively involved in the local homeschool community.
Allison delights in sharing the love of Christ with all she comes in contact with. Both you and your children will be blessed to meet her.
Savannah Bates
Kid’s Ministry Leader
Savannah has a heart for Jesus and a heart for kids. Her and her husband Ryan have 4 children of their own and serve together in a variety of ministries.
In addition to assisting in Radiant Kids, Savannah is also the director of a co-op for young children and homeschools her own.
Sierra Starr
Graphic Design
Sierra has been part of the Radiant family since 2013. She works as a full-time Graphic Designer, working part-time for Radiant ;)
Sierra also serves as a Worship Leader at Radiant. Her and her husband, Jake, live in Camas.
